"Heat Of the Night (Extended Remix)" - Bryan Adams

This is from Adams' 5th studio album "Into The Fire", from 1987. The song peaked at number 6 on the Hot 100 the same year. That's Adams playing lead guitar on this track, not the usual suspect Keith Scott. Longtime collaborator Jim Vallance on the song's origins: "Heat Of The Night" was partly inspired by the film noir classic "The Third Man", starring the brilliant actor-director Orson Welles. The darkness of the lyric was further influenced by a trip Bryan and I took to Berlin in March 1986, before the wall came down." Trivia: This track was the first cassette single released in the US. Running time: 6:27.
