Faltermeyer originally titled this, "The Banana Theme", since it was composed for the scene from "Beverly Hills Cop" in which Eddie Murphy's character of Axel Foley stuffed bananas up Taggert and Rosewood's (John Ashton and Judge Reinhold's) tailpipe to prevent them following him in their car. Subtle innuendo follows, must be something inside. Anyways, the movie was a smash. The soundtrack was a smash. This song, with a name change to reflect Murphy's Foley, was a smash.
